Early Reviews

“This is the perfect book for our times when we are so often upset by politics, religion, and culture wars. It’s easy to think our ideas are right and others are wrong—spend any time on social media and you will see “Rightness” out in force on every side. But when we act from that space of righteousness, we don’t have the ability to listen, to understand or to feel compassion for others – we just try to make them see that our point of view is the RIGHT one! Using the tools of self-love, willingness, forgiveness, allowing, and letting go, Daphneleah takes us on the journey she walked to recover from harsh early abuse to the path of understanding and love. A must read!”

~ Chellie Campbell, author of The Wealthy Spirit, From Worry to Wealthy and Zero to Zillionaire: 8 Foolproof Steps to Financial Peace of Mind

“The term Rightness symbolizes our relentless need for authority over others by being right, rather than striving for inner harmony. In her thought-provoking book Releasing Rightness: How Love Heals the Need to be Right author Daphneleah delves into the concept of being right and its dire consequences. Through her writing, Daphneleah offers insights and clarity on how to avoid this disconnect and embrace our true selves. This book is a must-read for anyone seeking to understand the impact of their actions on themselves and the world around them.”

~ Elise Marie Collins, author of Chakra Tonics and Super Ager

“Read this book if you are interested in your own self-care. Read this book if you are a couple that wants to deepen your relationship. Read this book if you are a manager wanting to create a thriving, trusting team. This book provides an insightful dive into the potential negative impact a person can make when Being Right is their most important priority. This book does an excellent job of describing how "Rightness" can be harmful to one's own development and to relationships with those who make up our community. Ultimately, the flawed belief that "the only successful interaction is one of domination" is convincingly refuted, and the book provides multiple personal examples to make the author’s point clear.

I found the suggestions of building awareness, gratefulness, and of placing the relationships we value higher than our need to be right, to be helpful to me in reducing Rightness in my life.

~ Jorge Ramirez, retired CEO of Heateflex Corporation

“Daphneleah writes with vulnerability about a path of love that healed her from the defensive coping strategy formed in her dysfunctional family of origin. Let it be a guiding light for your path to wellness and growth.”

~Lori Austein, Co-Director Circles of Resilience, Transpersonal Life Coach, Hypnotherapist, Council Trainer/Facilitator

“Living under the spell of another’s pain is truly debilitating to the soul, and yet, there are also gifts that are revealed so the light within is not fully diminished – those being empathy and trusting one's own intuition. In Releasing Rightness: How Love Heals the Need to be Right Daphneleah describes her journey through the cold and bitter world of the narcissistic trait of "Rightness." How this belief that one is right and the other is wrong affects one's life and rips away at the very core of one's true identity--which is love.

This book is a master class in self-realization, as you understand the pain and suffering one can experience living under the illusion that when one is right, then the other is always wrong and how this brings forth a sense of worthlessness, depression, anxiety, self-loathing, and a myriad of different conditions that keep one from experiencing self-love and acceptance.

This is a book about freedom and finding love in a dark place. For in unconditional love there is no right or wrong, good or bad, it all just is.”

I feel honored to have been given the opportunity to read this lovely body of work, and I hold it in the highest, regard for I know it will bring grace to many.”

Much of Daphneleah's time is currently dedicated to sharing her first nonfiction book.  A tale declaring how being wrong saved her life. This account of Rightness chronicles how she left the drama behind and entered the world of good living. She shares her loves and joys, along with the pain she has experienced in her life journey, which has allowed her to awaken and love herself and others. She shares how science and love correlate and how we grow by availing ourselves of both.

This book offers insights and tools to heal from the compulsion to be right. It tells the tale of my journey to health and sanity with the power of love.
